Story: Ginger came to us when her human became ill and has been with us for two years. She’s ready for a change, and so has been more playful and open to meeting new people. She does have “torti-tude”, and so can be spunky, but if you pay attention to her body language, she’ll tell you when she’s ready to be left alone. She loves to play and climb cat castles and would love to chase a wand toy in her very own home, before flinging herself down in a sunny spot for a snooze.

Contact: The Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter & Sanctuary, 5278 E. 21st St.

Meet: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday

She has a nice loose leash walk, she loves to smell all the smells while out for a walk, and she knows sit, look and touch. Story: If you're looking for a dog that wants love and is excellent with kids, Duke could be a perfect addition to your family! He's currently crashing on a couch in a foster home - we'll be honest, he's been loving sleeping in bed with his foster family! His interactions with people are great. He is curious but does not bark or pull toward people. He does amazingly well when meeting other dogs and loves to play. Duke is unbothered when the foster baby cries; he'll kindly walk away. His favorite thing in the whole world is his green stuffed animal - so when you adopt him, he'll have his stuffie in tow. Story: This handsome hunk is a cuddly couch potato who is perfectly potty trained and has had no accidents while in foster care. He's a lazy boy, so he probably isn't the best hiking buddy, but it makes him a great apartment dog. Ceasar loves people and loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. He walks great on a leash and is non-reactive to distractions while out and about. Email PACC.AdoptAFoster@pima.gov and include "A781582 Ceasar" in the subject line to learn more.

Story: Lily loves to play in the kiddie pool and chase toys, and sometimes she'll even bring the toys back to you - but sometimes she's just happy to run and play by herself. Her notes say she's housebroken, knows sit and paw, and enjoys bath time. Lily is a sweet pup who is eager to please and responds to cues from her people. In PACC playgroup, Lily greeted other dogs appropriately and initiated and engaged in play. She was friendly with the handlers and enjoyed spending time in the pool. When she's not out socializing with everyone, she's inside with volunteers perfecting her crate training skills.

Story: ZeZe is a sweet, shy grey tabby who has been a mom twice, and she’s not even two years old yet! She was found living outdoors right before her second litter was born and moved to Paws Patrol, where she could have her babies in a safe, cool place. Now that her kittens have all found their forever homes, ZeZe is enjoying being a young adult. She loves playing with her toys and being petted by her foster mom. She is still a little skittish and prefers to come to her foster mom for petting rather than being approached. This tabby loves her kitty housemate and looks to him for cues, so she would do well with another cat in the home. Patience and a lot of love are what ZeZe wants and needs. Adoption qualifications required.

Fee: $30. Adoption prices: all kittens 12 months or younger will be $65 each and all other cats are $30. Includes microchip, neutering and current shots.
